Nostalgia CET EE’84
Five years after the memorable Silver Jubilee Reunion of 2009, 27 of us classmates met at Kumarakom on the 22nd of December, 2014 to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of our graduation from CET. And the venue we chose was the `Backwater Ripples’, one of the best resorts set on the shores of lake Kumarakom. There were 42 of us actually, 15 family members included.
After enjoying tea and snacks on the lawns adjacent to the lake, the group went for a 1 hour Sunset Boat ride. Later, we assembled in the Meeting Hall for a wonderful evening, relishing old stories and events from the college days. It was quite an informal meeting, the same old friends feeling relaxed and happy with each others’ company. We had dinner and continued with the meeting.
We decided to form a WhatsApp group which came into existence a week after the meeting. We got better connected, making our bonding better and stronger…
